1 BUNCH ASPARAGUS, CLEANED AND ENDS TRIMMED OFF
1 TSP SALT
½ TSP PEPPER
2 TBSP. OLIVE OIL
1 C CANNED FRIED ONIONS
½ C PARMESAN CHEESE

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. PLACE ASPARAGUS ON A FOIL LINED BAKING SHEET. TOSS ASPARAGUS WITH SALT, PEPPER AND OLIVE OIL. SPREAD OUT TO A SINGLE LAYER. ROAST FOR 15 MINUTES. MEANWHILE COMBINE ONIONS WITH CHEESE. AFTER THE 15 MINUTES ARE UP, SPREAD ONION MIXTURE OVER BOTTOM HALF OF ASPARAGUS SPEARS AND ROAST FOR 10 MORE MINUTES.
