Sunday Brunch (EM# 1011)

½ lb bacon, chopped
1/2 c chopped onion
½ c chopped green pepper
12 eggs
1 c milk
1 pkg (16 ounces) frozen hash browns, thawed
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp dill weed 

In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp.  Remove with slotted spoon. In the bacon drippings, saute onion and green pepperuntil tender.  Remove with slotted spoon.  Beat eggs and milk in large bowl.  Stir in hash browns, cheese, salt, pepper, dill, onion mixture and bacon.  Transfer to 13-9 inch baking dish.  Bake at 350 40 minutes or until aknife inserted in center comes out clean.      

Strawberry Glazed Fruit Salad

1 quart strawberries, halved
4 bananas, sliced
1 pouch strawberry glaze 

Mix all together in bowl.  Serve  Can serve with whipped crème if desired        

Easy Biscuits
(Gay Estep: Elizabethton, TN "Taste of Heaven Cookbook)  

4 c self rising flour
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp baking powder
7 tbsp shortening
2 c buttermilk  

Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together.  Cut in shortening.  Mix in buttermilk with a fork until just mostened.  Roll out, cut and bake at 450 until golden brown
